Mr. Nick Taylor, Director at North Slope Capital Advisors, has structured over $12 billion in tax-exempt and taxable financings for more than 50 issuers around the country. Mr. Taylor’s investment banking experience spanned over 12 years before his new position at North Slope Capital Advisors in May, 2014. Nick has been active in all areas of public finance with special emphasis on higher education and nonprofit financings. He has also worked with numerous public entities across the county on borrowings secured by a wide range of revenue pledges and interest rate modes including fixed and variable rate bonds, synthetic fixed rate offerings, and indexed notes both publicly offered and directly.
Specifically, Nick was the lead banker for first-time issuances of variable rate bonds for various institutions and has structured unique financings for clients from subordinate lien bonds to complex commercial paper programs. Nick was also quoted in the Bond Buyer in 2009 for his lead banking experience on the first-ever ‘cross-over’ Build America Bond issued on behalf of the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Taylor’s professional and community service includes service to the Denver Children’s Home, Mount Saint Vincent, and the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business Professional Mentorship Program. Nick holds a BSBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado and has recently held Series 7, 53, and 66 securities licenses.
